While using Windows7 you have often seen error messages popping out of the system tray saying that 'This copy of windows is not genuine. You may be a victim of software counter-feiting' and blah blah ! Also sometimes it is very confusing when you want to use a pirated copy of windows7 but you don't have a patch or activator. You may also find that most of the patches found in the internet for activating Windows7 is rather a virus or Trojan.
Here is what you need to do. This is quite easy.
Go to Google's home-page and search for 'WAT-remover'. Search will produce a list. From there you'll get enough links to download a free WAT-remover software.
Alternatively you can download the torrent from here.
After downloading you need to run that software. But remember to disconnect the Internet-connection before running this tool, or may be the clever Windows7 (really ?) will black-list that tool. So better be on safe-side.
This 'WAT remover' also works fine if you want to update your Windows7 and it gets a piracy-message and then apply Windows Activation Tool(WAT).
